Indian Trail Athletic Association offers
recreational soccer for children ages 4 thru 15
years of age.

Team Sponsors:
We are actively
seeking sponsors of various levels for our
soccer program. ITAA offers an exceptional
advertising opportunity to over 1,000 member
families and parents of other children within
Union County. You can help us in one of several
ways:
• Provide us with the name and contact
information of any potential sponsors.
• Take a sponsorship form to an individual or
business that you know.
• Join the sponsorship
committee.

The Micro program is on
the basic fundamentals of soccer, team play, and
lots of fun.
Macro is the
transition from Micro to U7 and is much more
structured.
They will practice one or two
times a week and play a soccer game on Sunday
afternoons. Each season consists of approx. 10
games.
Recreational Soccer
players age 7 and up, play in the
Union County
Soccer League.This is a recreational soccer
league with teams from Weddington, Piedmont,
Waxhaw, Monroe, Wingate, Mint Hill and
Porter Ridge Athletic Associations
participating.
The children practice twice a
week and play games on Saturdays and Sunday
(afternoons) at various fields around the
County. There will be a season ending tournament
in November held at the Weddington and Monroe
soccer fields.
Challenge Soccer:
To help manage the rapid growth and
competitiveness of the ITAA soccer program, we
are excited to announce a new partnership with
WCWAA. This partnership will allow ITAA to form
Challenge teams that will play in the Charlotte
Area Youth Soccer League (CAYSL). These teams
are designed to provide youth players a chance
to further develop their soccer skills with
through more targeted coaching and training as
well as playing in a more competitive level.

Coaching Opportunites |
|

We
are always in need of soccer coaches,
assistant coaches and team mothers for
our soccer teams. Please ask a board
member for a coaches application when
you register your child to play. We will
place your child on your team; supply
you with a coach’s shirt and necessary
equipment for you to have a successful
season. We offer coaches training, and
have an opportunity team trainer once a
week to help your team if you choose to
participate in the team trainer program.
