 Football
Indian Trail Athletic Association supports
the Union County Midget Football League.
This league run by Union County High Schools
offers football programs for 2nd through 8th
grade.
2nd & 3rd Graders (Prep) - This newly
formed league will play full contact
football. The teams are limited to 20
players and has age and weight
restrictions.
4th & 5th Graders (JV) - This
division supported by Forest Hills, Parkwood
and Sun Valley plays a full schedule within
Union County.
Middle School Teams:
6th Grade- This 45 man team
competes with East Union, Piedmont, Marvin
Ridge, Porter Ridge, Catholic and Weddington.
7th Grade- This 45 man team competes with
Monroe, East Union, Piedmont, Marvin Ridge,
Porter Ridge, Catholic and Weddington.
8th Grade- This 45 man team competes with
Monroe, East Union, Piedmont, Marvin Ridge,
Porter Ridge, Catholic and Weddington.
This program is administered and run by the
Sun Valley Booster Club. All teams practice
at Sun Valley High School under the guidance
of the Head Football Coach, Scott Stein.

Registration:
Every Saturday in May
from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Old
Sun Valley Gym lobby, you can
register for each team.
Space is limited and registration
requires a physical, player
participation form and medical
waiver for each player.
