The
purpose of Challenge Baseball at Indian Trail
exists to provide the youth an opportunity to
excel in the fundamentals of baseball in a
competitive environment.
Challenge is for players that
show an elevated interest or aptitude in
baseball and provide the advanced level players
the opportunity to improve their skills through
competitive practices and competition.
Teams for Each
Age Group:
At each level, ITTA will sponsor
at least 1 Challenge team, which is extra
baseball, intended for players willing to play
at a higher level of competition. There may be
multiple Challenge teams or no Challenge teams,
depending on the number of interested, eligible
players and the number of willing coaches.
These teams will hold tryouts separately from
the evaluations for recreation evaluations and
may play extra games against other local
recreation associations or may enter tournaments
at the team’s expense and discretion.
Participants must be an active player on one of
their association’s regular season team rosters.
Note:
Challenge is
NOT an extensive practice season
for All-Stars and WILL NOT replace
the selection process of All-Stars.
Player
Participation and Eligibility:
Any player interested must
register with your coach and attend try out’s to
qualify. You must be a member of ITAA and
actively playing for a Spring Recreational
Team.
This is a competitive program
designed for the advanced player. This is a try
out, not all players will make a team.
Game and
Practice Schedule:
Each team will practice on
Sunday’s as designated by each coach and play
games as scheduled but will not conflict with
ITAA recreational teams. The teams will play in
a tournament schedule for Memorial Day Weekend.

Coach, Commissioner or call ITAA Today!
